1. Can I pay the royalty using a check or wire transfer?
Yes, but the preference is to pay through Pay.gov thereby expediting the process of getting the materials to you.
2. How do I pay the royalty?
You will receive an invoice from the OTT Royalty Administration Unit with invoice and license numbers. The invoice will     contain instructions on how to make payment. We strongly encourage the use of Pay.gov for payment of royalties.
3. What should I do if I want a different quantity of a material?
Contact the eRMa email at eRMa@mail.nih.gov and let us know what quantity you need and we will create a new catalogue     number for that quantity.
4. Whom should I contact if I have trouble using Pay.gov?
There is an excellent set of FAQs on the Pay.gov site at FAQs as well as a customer service site at Pay.gov Customer     Service.
5. Will you be adding more materials to the site?
Yes. We are actively working on adding additional materials that are licensed under an internal use license.
6. Can I license a material for commercial use?
Not at this time. If you intend to use the material for commercial use, contact the relevant licensing manager.
7. If I am a university or non-profit, can I use this site?
No. OTT only licenses to for-profit entities. Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs) are handled at the NIH Institute level.
8. How quickly should I expect to get the material after I pay the royalty?
We will receive an email from the Pay.gov system the next day and will notify the NIH shipper immediately.
9. I have not received my materials within the proposed time. Whom can I contact to determine the status of my     order?
You can see the status of your order in the system itself by logging in and going to your open orders. Additionally, you will     receive e-mail updates about the status of your order, including one that tells you the order has shipped.
10. The product I received was damaged. Whom can I contact about a replacement?
You should contact the shipping contact on the order.
11. Whom can I contact regarding general questions not listed under FAQ?
     The eRMa Admininistrator at eRMa@mail.nih.gov
12. I've forgotten my username/password, what do I do?
On the Login page, there is a link.
13. How long can will my orders remain in my order sheet?
Until they are completed or deleted.
